Hot-Steam® genuine replacement parts are manufactured to the same standards as the parts that came in your iron. RES14 is a self-indicating resin filter that makes soft water by removing minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, found in water.

By removing undesired minerals from water, it will prevent deposits to form inside the iron and greatly reducing the chances from getting clogged.

RES14 is specially intended for use in clear (see-through) containers allowing to check on the changing color feature. The resin color change from dark blue to amber is an indication of an exhausted filter (no longer effective) and that is time to replace it.
