Rose Aqua | 100 % pure and natural rose water It is extracted from Rosa damascena or Damask rose or Bulgarian rose. In winter we prepare them to bloom in summer We farm these roses and ask other people to farm them too. We’ve been doing this now for more than 30 years. Our Rose farms are located at heights of 2000 ft till 7000 ft above sea level in Kullu Valley, Himachal Pradesh. The rose oil and rose water extraction season is in the months of May, June and July each year. Damask roses in full bloom We pluck them early in the morning, before the sun rises too high. This helps us keep the fresh rose flower bloom from the night, enriched with the essential oil or otto of rose. The essential oil of rose is a component of rose water and the reason behind the many benefits of natural and pure rose water. The art of distillation In the rose season, we process rose by distillation. The roses are boiled and the steam is condensed to give rose oil and rose water. We store rose water for some time till it is ready to sell. We do not add any additives to our rose water.
